Archana Kapoor
Archana Kapoor is a community media specialist, filmmaker, and founder of SMART, which runs the award-winning Radio Mewat. She has played a key role in shaping India’s community radio landscape through policy advocacy, capacity-building, and innovation. Archana founded India’s first Radio Festival and mentors stations across India and Asia. Her work in media and social change has earned national and international recognition, and she has authored several toolkits and papers on gender, education, disaster preparedness, and community led development.
