Chaarvi Badani works in the development team at Villgro Innovations Foundation, a leading Indian social impact incubator. In her two years at Villgro, she has worked on multiple programmes, including strategy and change management, and creating technical assistance pools for entrepreneurs. She has also worked with Villgro Vietnam. Chaarvi is a former social entrepreneur herself, having co-founded a handicrafts start-up to create a platform for market-access and vocational training to shoe-making artisans and provide them with sustainable livelihoods. A Young India Fellow, Chaarvi has a degree in Economics from Christ University, Bengaluru.
