Tanupriya Singh is an editorial associate at IDR, where she’s responsible for writing, editing, and publishing content. Prior to joining IDR, she worked as a journalist at NewsClick and Peoples Dispatch, covering people’s movements, politics, and issues of social and economic justice across the Global South. Tanupriya holds degrees in political science and global studies, is interested in critical development perspectives, and has experience in research on agrarian change and labour in rural areas of Punjab and Haryana.
Saloni Sisodiya is a multimedia analyst at IDR Hindi. Prior to this, she worked with Feminism in India as a senior digital editor, focusing on topics such as gender, culture, society, and cinema. Saloni holds a master’s degree in electronic media.
Juhi Mishra is an editorial associate at IDR Hindi. She has 14 years of journalistic experience and has worked with Patrika, Times of India, Roar Media, Duta Technology, and Gram Vaani. Juhi has completed a fellowship from Vikas Samvad Sanstha, where she researched the food systems and causes of malnutrition in the Basor community.
Shailesh Deshpande is the founder of Life Drive Lab, an independent consulting practice that focuses on the themes of personal growth, organisational effectiveness, and leadership development, as well as their intersections. Before starting this practice in 2022, Shailesh worked in the field of human resources (HR) across a wide range of roles such as business partnering, industrial relations, global HR, talent and leadership development, and consulting with Marico, Asian Paints, Accenture, and Godrej.
In his last corporate role, he led the talent and leadership development function for the Godrej group. Shailesh has completed a master’s in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and an executive master’s in consulting and coaching for change from INSEAD.
Praveen Bhatt has more than 26 years of experience in the areas of digital, customer experience, operations, and marketing across asset management companies and banks. He has worked at Godrej & Boyce, ITC Threadneedle/Zurich AMC, and Standard Chartered AMC. In 2008, he was inducted as the founder COO and CFO for Axis Asset Management Company (Axis AMC). After successfully navigating Axis AMC to profitability, he moved to Axis Bank to head its retail digital banking and customer experience departments.
Praveen retired from corporate life at age 50 to launch an entrepreneurial marketing and digital consulting firm called Anthrop Consulting. He also sits on the board of Infomatics Services Private Limited, a Mumbai-based software company.
Suchorita Datta is a digital marketing associate at IDR, where she’s responsible for managing social media alongside developing and executing advertising campaigns. She has six years of experience in digital communication, which includes working with Member of Parliament Derek O’Brien on social media management and community engagement for three major Indian elections. Suchorita has a BA in Political Science from Jadavpur University and an MA in Women’s Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Rakesh Swami is an editorial associate at IDR Hindi and is responsible for creating, editing, sourcing, and publishing content. His primary focus is on delivering content related to Rajasthan, where he has collaborated with communities through the state’s Yuva Vikas programme. Rakesh has also contributed to writing and capacity building at the Accountability Initiative, Centre for Policy Research. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from RTU University, Kota.
Mehek Seth is a social media executive at IDR, where she writes social media copy and carries out daily posting. She has previously worked with WWF Cymru and Middlesex Pride and has experience in various genres of photography and videography, including virtual reality. Mehek’s interests and work centre around feminism, queer rights, environmental conservation, and the challenges faced by migrants. She has a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism.
Raveena Kunwar is a digital marketing analyst at IDR Hindi. She has a background in reporting and her previous work has been in the realm of public health and women’s empowerment. Raveena holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in media and communication studies.
Indresh Sharma is a multimedia editor at IDR Hindi. Previously associated with Pratham and the Centre for Policy Research, he has more than 12 years of experience working in the development sector. During this time, he has conducted significant primary and secondary research in the areas of health, education, sanitation, nutrition, and rural development.
