Drishana Kalita
Drishana Kalita is the founder-director of PuppetPeople, a theatre group that aspires to further Assam’s puppetry forms through positive storytelling. Since 2012, she has been working in the development sector to forward the cause of environmental conservation, species protection, and gender equality in Northeast India. Drishana has a background in corporate communications. She began her career as a copywriter and was involved with advertising brands in New Delhi, before finding her true calling in working for social change.
