Gracy Lamkholhing
Gracy Lamkholhing is a PhD student at the Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, Manipur University. She belongs to the Khado-speaking community, which is among the 39 recognised tribes in Manipur. She lives in Churachandpur and is a member of the Kuki students’ organisation in her district. Gracy was part of Tata Steel Foundation's Tribal Leadership Program, 2024.

Not enough classrooms for Kuki students displaced by Manipur violence
There are more children in Manipur relief camps than local schools can accommodate. Kuki student organisations are setting up community schools to decrease the dropout rate.
