Dr Harendra Singh Bargali is a conservation biologist with a PhD in sloth bear ecology and behaviour. He has over 25 years of experience in mitigating human-wildlife conflict. He currently serves as the deputy director at The Corbett Foundation. Prior to this, he was associated with Wildlife Institute of India, Smithsonian Institute, and IUCN's Sloth Bear Expert Team. He was also a part of the Uttarakhand State Wildlife Advisory Board.
