Roopa is Managing Partner at Omidyar Network India. Prior to joining Omidyar Network India, Roopa spent 23 years with CRISIL, and was its managing director and chief executive officer since 2007.Roopa has served on several boards as an independent director, including Infosys, Tata AIA Life Insurance Company, Nestle India, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A), and the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN). She has served on several government, regulatory and policy committees and industry associations, such as SEBI, RBI, and NASSCOM. She holds a postgraduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and is a Distinguished Alumnus of the institute.
